How to play

  • Each step changes exactly one letter and must be a real word from this game's list.
  • Par is the length of a shortest ladder found by the computer.
  • Easy: 2–3 steps with 3 hints (a hint shows the next word on a shortest path). Hard: 4–5 steps, 1 hint. Extreme: 6–7 steps. Nightmare: 8–10 steps, no hints.
