Does it handle leap years?
Yes. Real calendar dates are used, so 29 February and varying month lengths are counted correctly.
What does "include end date" change?
It adds one day to the total so both the first and the last day are counted — useful for leave, rentals and project plans.
Can the end date be earlier than the start date?
Yes. The tool tells you the end date comes first and still shows the size of the gap as a positive number.
Are public holidays excluded from working days?
No. Only Saturday and Sunday are excluded, because holidays differ by country and region.
Why are whole months shown separately?
Months have different lengths, so a month count is only exact when whole calendar months fit between the dates. The remaining days are shown separately.
