How to play

  1. X starts each round. Select an empty square to place your mark.
  2. Players alternate turns. Connect three marks across, down, or diagonally.
  3. If every square fills without a winning line, the round is a draw.
  4. Against the computer, you play X. Easy plays randomly but takes wins it sees; Hard wins, blocks and grabs the centre but can be forked; Extreme uses full minimax and cannot be beaten — a draw is perfect play.
  5. In local mode, share the device. Use Tab to focus an empty square and Enter or Space to play.
