Where do I find my price per kWh?
It is printed on your electricity bill, usually as a unit rate per kWh. Enter it in your own currency.
Can I compare several appliances at once?
Yes. Add as many appliances as you like — the totals combine them and a per-appliance table shows which ones cost the most.
What if an appliance runs only some days?
Set the days-per-month field to match, for example 8 for a washing machine used twice a week.
Why is my bill higher than this estimate?
Bills also include standing charges, taxes and tiered tariffs, and appliances such as fridges cycle on and off rather than running at full power.
